Odina was founded in 2010 to fill a void in the swimwear industry for active women that wanted a sustainable, highly-functional swimsuit that was still fashionable. Their idea was to make a suit using eco-friendly materials that not only complimented a woman’s figure, but also her passions. Odina worked with surfers, not models, to get feedback on fit and function; with women that are exploring the world, surfing jaw-dropping waves and helping the planet that they love, to test their product. Through the process the Odina team tested a number of sustainable fabrics and a variety of recycled fibers before finding one that met their demands. The various styles underwent the same testing, with many success stories. The result was a suit that was not only ecologically sensitive but looked great on and rose to any challenge: Odina was born!
Setting the standard in eco-swimwear, Odina has put thought into every aspect of production. From the fabric, which is recylced nylon to the tags, which are organic cotton. Odina is committed to a truly sustainable business model. Additionally, all suits are manufactured in the U.S.A..
An Odina girl lives her life to the fullest but respects the earth and all its inhabitants, all the while looking great doing it!

Resigning from a job and team she loved at Billabong NZ to buy a one-way ticket to the tropics, slugging back Singapore Slings enroute to the unknown,
founder, Danielle Clayton,
spent three seasons as a surf guide in the Maldives.
Throughout 2012, her third season working under tropical sun, Danielle's sole intention was to create a platform that supported and showcased indie surfwear designers making rad gear. Concurrent to the blog and not finding surf leggings on the market that either a) suited her style or b) suited her surf guide wages, she had a couple of pairs whipped up for herself, promoted through the Salt Gypsy blog, took orders for the original bespoke surf leggings, and the legging trend in women's surfwear you see today was born.

In 2014 designer Monique Rotteveel decided to take a year off and have an ‘Endless Summer’ to do lots of yoga and surfing along the beaches of France, California and Central & South America. After a few months Monique realised that what she really wanted to do was to combine her passions for surf, yoga & graphic design. Monique wanted to design & create colourful prints, inspired by her travels around the world. Leggings, tops, and surf bikinis were the items that Monique used every single day: Active Wear was the ultimate product to express her creativity and combine all her ideas into a new brand.
So Monique went back to the Netherlands, full of ideas, and in June 2015 started with a small collection. She was very happy to see that from the start on it was received very well. In fall/winter 2015 extra styles were added and two new prints. And here we are today with the second collection and the new brandname ‘Monique Rotteveel®’! Monique is super excited that women all over the world love our products and to see my dreams and ideas come true! All of our items are 100% made in Europe. High quality Italian fabric, fair wages, good working conditions, and made with love!

Zealous \ˈze-ləs\ means to be filled with or to be inspired by intense enthusiasm [Synonyms: enthusiastic, passionate, eager] and embodies our striving for happiness that we find in the ocean & mountains.
Zealous was created by Marie-Kristin Krause and is made in Bali.
Perhaps like every other clothing designer, it has always been Marie's passion to craft and create clothes. The idea of fusing that passion and the dream of living a surflife into reality, pushed Marie to start Zealous. Next to streetwear, she started designing Surfbikinis with an outstanding fit that offer comfort and stay on in the surf.
In this process Marie decided to move to Bali.
Why Bali? Because in Bali Marie can make sure that workers earn enough, personally visit the facilities and support local family businesses which is a rarity in todays textile industry. Every surfbikini embodies this effort and love.
